Shaun Leane was running on Shopify 1.0 and felt limited. They wanted more control over content, better navigation, and a refreshed design that matched their brand. A key focus was improving the customer experience and clearing up confusion around product options like materials and categories.

We built a new Shopify 2.0 theme. The project included CRO and UX discovery, information architecture, data migration from Shogun blocks, and full project management. We also added custom features to give the Shaun Leane team full flexibility over product data, filtering, and presentation.

The new site offers a better shopping experience, clear product information, and a stronger brand presence. The client now has full confidence in their platform and can manage content and product details with ease. Performance has also improved significantly:

The new Shopify theme allowed customers to confidently explore collections, understand product options, and complete purchases more easily. This translated into higher conversion rates and larger basket sizes.

Smarter Product Selection

A major challenge was customer confusion around variations like metal types, plating, and sizing.

We built a custom swatch solution that lets shoppers easily select the exact version they want without second-guessing. On top of that, we restructured product specifications from simple text into structured data fields. This powers advanced filtering and tagging, making it far easier for customers to browse, refine, and locate specific pieces.

The combination of better filtering and simplified product selection helped reduce friction and improved the overall shopping experience.
